Thursday 6:38 am

28 degrees outside in Talladega at our bed and breakfast in Alabama---the sun is shining brightly through the big windows and begged me to come out and play----I took that as----hot tub time----yeaaaauuh! My sanctuary where I actually can be quiet and listen to the things my Father chooses to speak. Started a new song---my faith hears You, my soul is lifted by your presence.

Winter here is quite a different experience---early morning sunrise catches an ice fog 2 to 3 ft above the water and the fog becomes totally pink and causes the crystals to dance just above the glistening water---one of the most memorable types of morning------Our son Isaac and daughter-in law, Rebecca (hows that for a Biblical hookup) and our youngest grandson Matthew Colin came over last night since we had no guests--they will leave Sat at noon, so we may prepare for our paying guests. Bed and breakfasts seem to stir up not only tender moments of romance, but reflective times of cherishing family and how special they are. bout to cook breakfast=====Hey grandpa, whats for breakfast----I think I smell a little bacon slowly frying with some (son requested) real fluffy rice waffles with a banana cream cheese and clementine orange glaze with a bit of nutmeg, cinammon and apples a top. Some mango/heavy whipping cream milk a little bittle of the clementine citrus will make a good drink that will complement the maple syrup with pecans------mmmmmmm====y'all come!
